225g Self-Raising Flour

ВЅ tsp Salt

38g Butter

25g Sugar

3 tbs Raisins

1 tbs Dried Cranberries

1 Egg and Milk beaten together (to make Вј pint liquid   keep back a spoonful for the tops)

1. Pre-heat your oven to 220C/450F

2. Mix flour and salt together in a bowl. Then rub in the butter

3. Mix in the sugar and fruit

4. Add the egg and milk mixture to create a soft dough, remembering to keep back a small amount tof the egg and milk mixture

5. Roll out to a thickness of about ВЅ an inch.

6. Cut into rounds

7. Place on a greased tray and brush the tops with the remaining egg and milk mixture

8. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden
